Ummmm.... how do you arrive at this figure? The chart in 1.3331 states that
a faerry's (either male or female) height is determined by using the
following formula:
(half their native strength) + (half their native stamina) + 28.
(If you read the text of 1.3331, it says that "For Dwarfs and Faerries ONLY,
the total of Native Strength and Native Stamina is divided by TWO and rounded
up before adding it to the factor for their race."
Using average stats for a male faerry (strength 7, stamina 9), you'd get a
value of 36, when using the formula above. Since most of the following text
(in sections 1.3331 and 1.3332) reference inches, we've always considered the
final result to represent the total number of inches tall that the character
is. 36" = 3'0". Still not very tall, and certainly not very concealable...
but twice the size of the height reference used in your example.
Have you been using the height factor as centimeters (cm), perhaps? Still
not sure how you'd get 45, unless maybe you're not halving the total of
Native Strength and Native Stamina, as indicated in the text of 1.3331.
Not at all meaning to quibble... but there are certainly enough formulae in
this game to give anyone a headache, and if I've been doing it wrong all this
time, I'd like to know... ;-)
Thanks,
Gene
