Scott,

No, the archives are there, and seem to working fine from here. I can't 
reproduce the error, but I can make an educated guess of what caused it. 
The server on which the website and listserver are running has a 'slight' 
bandwidth problem. (This must be the understatement of the year.) Blame 
Bill. So the machine often refuses connections with cryptic error messages 
as the result. The only solution at this time is to try again at a later 
time. I will look into the problem, but it may well resist banishment until 
the end of December.
