FV/DR

I've been looking over my new book of tables stuff.

It had the DR chart and section.

I could never really read the basic rules section on FV and DR as it gave me
headaches (with that red sections uggh).  Could someone explain the use of them
while I have that in memory?

I have a basic idea from skimming those sections but I can't never complete
them :)
