Back in the '80s I made charts of all the NPC Elves, NPC Human males and
NPC Human females listing each stat according to Book 3 p.38 or Book 4 Rule
1.1 modified by the Creature Variation.  Not being satisfied with the
randomness of the results (11 types, either D+A OR S+St+etc. being
emphasized) I took to creating many non-Character class NPCs with the
following formula.

Native Ability of 2D6 +3 x a multiplier of [1+(1D4*x0.5)]
with C & Ap using a multiplier of (1+1D3*)

1D4*=Roll a 10 sided die, 1-4=1, 5-7=2, 8-9=3, 10=4.
