What are the size limitations on a wand? 12"-24" as stated in the
description? Why should this limitation exist? Even 24" is small for a
giant. 12" is large for a faerry.
Of course a wand for a giant might be a log for a faerry. A wand for a
faerry could be a toothpick for a giant.

If you allow 2 1/2 ft. sticks as wands for humans a wizard could use it as
a singlestick (using mace skill?). Singlesticks are also used in
two-weapon style. Properly enchanted they could be quite effective.

Why not have the possibility to enchant/ensorcell a stick of whatever size
to EITHER give a bonus equal to MEL at a cost of 2 (staff stats) OR give a
bonus equal to EL at a cost of 1 (wand stats). Then call it whatever you
want.
