[PnP] Magic users

We didn't have that problem. Mostly (with encouragement) the newbie or 
less experienced players took non-magic using characters. One of the few 
exceptions got stripped of magic when everyone in the party requested it 
after the wizard's culminating act of summoning an air elemental for 
practice and couldn't get rid of it...leading to the party's stronghold 
being trashed and several (including the wizard) being badly injured.

Several of the more experienced players seem to prefer to play fighters. 
However, a couple of us that prefer magic-users also tend to be the ones 
that are 'creative' in how the rules might be interpreted. Fortunately 
the concept of play balance and reasonableness are also present in those 
of us like that.
