Yeah - you would pretty much need to make a chart which would slow down combat.

Something like Leather takes -1 dmg vs. bludgeoning but +1 vs.
piercing/slashing.

Probably the opposite for plate.

But you'd still need an entry for each type of armor. More realistic
but more time consuming too.

I can live with all armors being treated the same, but losing leather
or quilted after three hits (possibly just one if 6pts or more damage
is applied) just seems really harsh.
